21 Days Mindset Change Challenge Day 1

#MindsetChangeChallengeDay1

Greetings of the new day
It's the opening day of the 21 Days Mindset Change Challenge With Dr. Jerry - the First and I am excited to be in this Challenge with you. I hope you are also excited.

In opening, here's what to do today
Wake up call
Meditate for 2 - 5 minutes
Think out what you want to improve on in these 21 days
Write it down in your Challenge Jotter
Read it aloud to yourself
Visualize yourself achieving that which you have written out
Write out your affirmation on that specific task - start with "I am so happy and grateful now that I now or I am ......"
Read out your affirmation 5 - 10 times
Write out at least one specific action step (goal) you can take today to get close to your challenge objective
then start doing it (don't waste time)
Keep off all negative news and negative people that may derail or distract your challenge objective
Start  speaking in the positive concerning your challenge objective - speak like you already have attained it

Never let a doubt rest on your mind for more than a millisecond - replace it immediately you notice it with a positive thought

That's the task for today

Wishing you God's Speed

Know This And Have Some Peace

Know This And Have Some Peace...   I have visited my 120 years old grandmother and given   her some money when I was leaving and she told me she doesn't need money again. That she can no longer buy nor sell at her age, so I should give the money to the younger ones who need it. I also have a former governor friend whom I worked with as a green horn journalist. He was governor from 1999-2007. Not too long ago, I saw him. After check in, he was left seated by the corner of the Murtala Mohammed international airport awaiting his flight. No one even recognized him again, not even passengers from his State where he was governor, and as I walked up to him and greeted him, then asked if he wanted any assistance, he stretched forth his trembling hands to hold me and simply said, "Thank you for even recognizing me again. I just want your attention briefly my son. Sit down let me ask you something. How is Governor Ayade doing Agba?" I also have a retired Maj

Freedom From Fear - Choices Before The New Generation

Freedom From Fear - Choices Before The New Generation By Babatunde Raji Fashola      We are now in the realm and reality of constant expectations of miracles and divine intervention. Superstitions have taken over reason and logic. When we pass examinations, win football matches, conduct successful elections, or achieve any feat, we seem all too frightened and unsure of ourselves to take credit for even the most modest of successes attributable to our efforts. Instead the first thing you hear is God did it. Regrettably, we have surrendered our capacities and abilities in a frightful way to FEAR, that we have become victims of some confidence tricksters who deceive, dis-entitle and prey on our fears and frailties in ‘God's’ name. Every man and woman of substance now has a Mullah, Pastor, Imam, Alfa, Spiritualist or even a witch doctor or Dibia who is responsible for telling them what to do, when to do it, in a way that diminishes his abilities and surrenders

How To Take Control Of Your Racing Mind!

How To Take Control Of Your Racing Mind!   It's no fun to go through your days with a hundred ideas running around in your head at the same time. Confusion, annoyance, rage, negativity, fear, and other negative emotions may all affect your mood. All that dense energy can have an effect on your health over time. Is your mind still busier than you'd like it to be? Do you wish you could fall asleep quickly at night but find it difficult due to your racing mind? You're unable to relax your nervous system? Take heart, dear one; there are techniques you can learn to help you relax and enjoy some much-needed peace and quiet. Living mindfully is a good place to start. It's not uncommon for chaos to come before clarity. Confusion and chaos will appear just when you're about to reach a breakthrough or enter a new season of your life. Have you ever had that happen to you? It's as if all hell breaks loose in your head, and you fear you

Mando And His World

Mando And His World   As a child, Mando believed that he would make a difference in his world. Something in him used to tell him that he did not belong to the world he was presently in. Mando's world was that of lack and deprivation. His family was poor, utterly poor and Mando was the 8th of 10 Children that his Parents had. His Father was a subsistent farmer and his Mother a petty trader. They could barely afford 2 meals in a day. Because of the many mouths to feed, both Parents sometimes went hungry just to ensure that their children had something to eat. Clothing was a different kettle of fish, Mando and his siblings barely had clothes and went bare-bodied most of the time. Sandals and silpas were a luxury, but they got used to moving around bare feet even on thorny surfaces. Being a farmer, Mando's Father would leave the house very early in the morning and come back late in the evening. Sometimes, his wife would cook and then send the food with one of

What Is The Driving Force?

What Is The Driving Force?   At 50, he was unmarried. Not that he lacked the company of ladies but he said that he was yet to find someone who would love him just for him and not because he was earning good money. So he lived a life of "I don't care" - a carefree life However, he had a good number of friends who were always at his beck and call because he loved having a good time, hanging out with friends and having fun. One of those days, he had gone out with his friends, they had a frolicking time and everyone went home after the hang out. In the middle of the night, he became really sick - vomiting and stooling incessantly. He became very alarmed and called his friends to come and accompany him to the Hospital. they did come alright and took him to the Hospital At the Hospital, the Doctor made a tentative diagnosis of food poisoning and admitted him, He also ordered some laboratory tests for him including Malaria Parasite, Typhoid and HI
